Hi! I am Sharon DiGirolamo creator of Kaya's D.O.G Bites of Douglas Massachusetts. I am a certified Pet Food Nutritionist, a certified herbalist and a holistic practitioner. Since 2018 I have dedicated my entire time, energies, and education on the health and well being of my 5 year old German Shepard, Kaya Shade. This journey has been a labor of love. The sheer amount of options, misleading information, and just overwhelm of care for her has not only been my frustration, but my motivation and inspiration. Kaya's health has driven me to create and share my knowledge. It is very important to understand the balance of your pups health. I am here to guide you and empower you to make sound choices for your pups health. Our new collaboration with a certified aestetician and pet groomer, Paths to Wellness is soon to be available for consulting and guidance.
MEET KAYA
Sharon started her adventure in the pet nutrition field in 2018 after her female German Shepherd puppy, Kaya Shade, started having issues with her skin, coat, teeth, and tummy. After several dietary changes and consultations with traditional and holistic veterinarians, she switched Kaya to a raw organic diet and started making Kaya’s treats and chews at home from fresh, organic ingredients. Soon Kaya was like a different dog, and Kaya’s D.O.G Bites™ were born!
